Terms of Use — Public Beta
Revision: October 8, 2026. My Rule of Life is currently beta software intended for personal formation, reflection, recovery support, and skill practice.
Beta software
Features may change, move, be removed, or contain errors. Do not rely on the beta as the only place to store information that would be difficult to replace. Use the backup tools if you keep important entries in the app.
Not professional or emergency care
The app provides educational and self-management tools. It is not medical care, psychotherapy, diagnosis, emergency response, legal advice, spiritual direction, or a substitute for professional treatment. Recovery, mental-health, and spiritual tools are aids to reflection and practice, not guarantees of outcomes.
If you may be in immediate danger, experiencing a medical emergency, severe withdrawal, or at risk of harming yourself or another person, use local emergency services or qualified professional care rather than relying on the app.
Recovery programs and third-party resources
References to A.A., N.A., SMART Recovery, Recovery Dharma, Refuge Recovery, Celebrate Recovery, other fellowships, books, websites, or organizations are for informational and navigational purposes unless expressly stated otherwise. My Rule of Life is not endorsed by, affiliated with, or a substitute for those programs. Their names, literature, trademarks, and websites remain subject to their respective owners' rights and terms.
Your content and feedback
You retain responsibility for the personal information you enter. Do not enter information you do not want stored on your device or, if you enable sync, in your encrypted sync record. When you voluntarily submit beta feedback, you permit the project to use that feedback to evaluate, improve, and develop My Rule of Life. This does not transfer ownership of unrelated personal content in your app.
Intellectual property
The public build distinguishes original app material, public-domain material, licensed material, and external links. Third-party works remain owned by their respective rights holders. The Sources & Licensing page explains important content sources and release safeguards.
No warranty
The public beta is provided as-is and as-available to the extent permitted by applicable law. Because it is an evaluation build, availability, compatibility, data persistence, and specific results are not guaranteed.
Changes
These terms may be updated as the beta becomes a released product. Material changes should be reflected by a new revision date.
This is product-language for a beta release, not individualized legal advice. A final commercial launch should receive jurisdiction-appropriate legal review.
