Safety & Support
My Rule of Life can help you pause, reflect, practice skills, pray, plan, and connect with recovery resources. It cannot provide emergency care.
Use real-world emergency help when needed
If you or someone else may be in immediate danger, call your local emergency number or go to an emergency department. If you are at risk of harming yourself or another person, do not rely on an app response or wait for beta feedback.
Withdrawal and medical risk
Stopping or sharply reducing some substances can require medical supervision. Severe alcohol or sedative/benzodiazepine withdrawal can be dangerous. Seek qualified medical guidance when withdrawal risk is possible, especially with a history of severe withdrawal, seizures, delirium, heavy daily use, pregnancy, serious medical illness, or use of multiple substances.
Recovery support works better with people
Use the app to support—not replace—meetings, sponsors or mentors, clinicians, clergy, peers, family supports, treatment programs, or other people who are part of your recovery plan. When a craving or crisis is escalating, moving from private reflection to human contact is often the more useful next action.

Spiritual material
Prayer and spiritual practices can support meaning, surrender, hope, honesty, service, and community. They should not be used to dismiss medical needs, avoid accountability, remain in danger, or replace appropriate professional care.
