Make room for a feeling without obeying it
An original acceptance-and-choice practice: notice, allow, separate sensation from story, loosen the struggle, and return to a chosen action.
This public tool is intentionally independent. It does not reproduce the Sedona Method or another branded release sequence.
60-second practice
- Plant your feet and let the exhale lengthen.
- Name the feeling without turning it into an identity: “anger is here,” not “I am anger.”
- Notice raw sensation for a few breaths.
- Drop the immediate fight with the feeling. You do not have to approve of the situation.
- Separate what you cannot control from the action you can choose.
- Do one small thing consistent with your values.
